oh yea. bringing back the 98 front end was a good choice. looks a lot better now IMO

i was wondering when i'd actually see that set that you've holding out on me.

i think it was in october sometime and the last time i drove it and picked up that skunk2 battery tie down from jrp.

phom car was the 98-01 boosted ls with the r wing and sidemoldings sitting on 16" gunmetal and polished lipped ssr comps. i wish i had a chance to see that car in person and the shiney intercooler chilling behind the bumper.

jonns car was soooooo clean. smoothe's R was hella nice. dc24me car is a work in progress which still looks dope. and alex/cantxx car is just tooo dope. what happened to cantxx btw? haven't seen him post in a loooooooooong time

 

at least mine is, it's actually pretty beat up cosmetically.

the rear filler panel and bumper aren't the same color.
right corner of the bumper is missing paint.
paint flaking off the front bumper.
lip needs to be repainted. (my first attempted years ago @ rattlecanning)
crease on the passenger side fender by the cornerlight.
ding on the fenderline on the driver's fender and gas door.
firecracker dent on the hood line.
ding on driver side door.
bondo and rattlecanned rear quarters where the wheelwell meets the bumper and the rocker panel.
bubble on the hood where the emblem was shaved.
fisheye,
clearcoat drips
dust.

it's far from perfect.

 

lol. i'm almost a decade deep and no where near the point where i'm happy with it. i really wish i had 10g to be able to just throw at it and get it "done" once in for all. even with just new paint and quarters i'd be happy, but that's still 5g easy. sometimes i'd love to get rid of it, but unfortunately, since it's my first car and i've had it for so long and already wasted stupid money on it, i can't ever let it go. for now, it just sits.

^Technically speaking it is no more, word on the street that its been parted out. And someone nabbed all the spoon goodies so if you see another ITR out there that looks like Smoothe's car except with a jap spec nose, you know where those parts came from.
