onelankan 09-13-2008 03:38 PM

where'd you get the CF hatch? :D

D C 2 09-13-2008 03:59 PM

looks good YO! lovin' the CF hatch. That's something that I would definitely go for. Good luck with future upgrades.

Stugatts 09-13-2008 04:06 PM

thnks alot, the hatch was bought 2nd hand incl. glass, upcoming this winter is hopefully the begining of my power build B18c1/B20 etc....

sikkkkktegra 09-13-2008 04:11 PM

how much weight dif. was the carbon hatch to the stock one? abd where did u get it?

Buff4Prez Yo 09-13-2008 04:47 PM

not really feeling the lip.

grab the roof cap to finish it off
https://www.torontointegras.ca/forum...ad.php?t=21776
he's been sitting on it for a while so you could probably get it for a killer price.

Nawaaz 09-13-2008 06:04 PM

yea, that roof cap came to mind. looks awesome man... CF hatches FTW!... is it the lexan window that it came with? and sikktegra... the cf hatch is a million times lighter.

FuzzyLS BRO 09-13-2008 06:43 PM

looks good man, how much did the CF hatch run you if you don't mind me asking?

reading p0wns you, lol

what's the difference between a type r window and a normal integra window?

Nawaaz 09-13-2008 10:18 PM

lol... didnt read the words... but yeaa... what is the difference between the ITR glass and the normal glass.

Stugatts 09-13-2008 10:44 PM

siktegra: There is a noticeable difference between the CF hatch and OEM one, i do not have exact numbers but when carrying them, the oem one required 2 ppl and the CF one could be handled by one person.

Nawaaz: The Difference between Type R window and normal is the third brake light.

Buff: Yes I regret the lip as well, Type R lip would have been better acent

Fuzzy: I paid $800 for everything, installed myself 2nd hand.

I may think about that roof CF cap, but the problem is that it doesn;t reduce weight it actually adds to it because you're laying it over your stock roof without removing anything.

Buff4Prez Yo 09-14-2008 02:48 AM

it weighs like 5lbs dude. you can make that up and more by getting wheels that are an inch smaller, or by getting rid of one of your subs (if you have 2)

Nawaaz 09-14-2008 05:10 AM

you learn something new everyday... lol, get the CF cap... just do it :D

Stugatts 09-14-2008 08:36 AM

I really don't know about that cap, it eliminates the sunroof and i'm planning to remove A/C so lol i may want as many windows as I can..lol

D C 2 09-14-2008 10:19 AM

i love my sunroof.

96GSR 09-14-2008 11:09 AM

cf hatch group buy?

Stugatts 09-14-2008 11:57 AM

goodluck ^^^ i think when i priced everything out individually it was like $1300 bucks or more.

D1KINGZ 09-14-2008 12:00 PM

are you keeping the tints?

It looks badazz - but i think you should lose the tints.

Stugatts 09-14-2008 12:15 PM

lol thnx i was actually thinking of doing 5% all around...

turboda4dr 09-14-2008 05:47 PM

looks real good bro, the fitment of the c/f hatch seem to be perfect:yeah:

Stugatts 09-14-2008 08:44 PM

thanks i owe that to my dad, he came out saw that i didn't have it alined properly then he took the latch to my grandfathers and machined it himself to ensure as accurate fitment as possible lol and hes an Accountant by the way.. no training lmao

^^ Forgot to mention in my previous post the car looks good!

I'd re-consider doing 5% for tints...unless your looking to get pulled over often :p

Stugatts 09-14-2008 09:53 PM

thnks alot... well i like th elook of the 5% but maybe a few shades lighter would still look really dark considering the interior is prodiminently black

I'd suggest talking with Jeff at Audio Heaven. Ask him about the NR Charcoal tint (dyed). 17% in that is more then enough to create a 'dark' look. :D

Stugatts 09-14-2008 10:13 PM

thnks i might just do that... i was however thinking of saving sum for a pure performance build over the winter....just haven't decided which way to go with it yet.

Stugatts 09-14-2008 10:35 PM

what do you guys think of a type r spoiler on this??

Buff4Prez Yo 09-15-2008 05:26 AM

don't do it.

Nawaaz 09-15-2008 06:30 AM

yea... dont do it... I dont think it will look good on the CF hatch

Stugatts 09-15-2008 08:11 AM

i been looking for a picture of a dc2 with cf hatch and type r spoiler i can't find one to make the decision based on...

N.O

Nawaaz 09-15-2008 04:35 PM

what about cf ITR wing?

Stugatts 09-15-2008 04:49 PM

hmm ye what does everyone think of a CF ITR wing?

sikkkkktegra 09-15-2008 09:14 PM

NO. so your trying to reduce weight and adding more on? its front wheel drive anyways, you dont really need a rear wing.

Stugatts 09-15-2008 09:16 PM

good point... sikktegra

D1KINGZ 09-16-2008 07:02 PM

keep it spoilerless brother... Im in for more pics .

Stugatts 09-16-2008 07:13 PM

gio 09-16-2008 07:31 PM

Niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Stugatts 09-16-2008 07:32 PM

thnxxxxx

Nawaaz 09-16-2008 08:15 PM

ummm.. what exactly is going to be the purpose of this car?

Stugatts 09-16-2008 09:58 PM

the purpose is going to be a street-car that can hold it's in the curves at the track. Drag racing is fun and all but more of a track beast. So i'm thinking all-motor or a light boost application 6-7psi after the motor is completly built, 270whp is my benchmark.

sikkkkktegra 09-16-2008 11:12 PM

i say allmotor... but yet again i am an all motor fan.

Buff4Prez Yo 09-17-2008 03:27 AM

^werd.

Stugatts 09-17-2008 07:35 AM

my buddy has a 93 hatch, b20vtec all motor build the thing is absolutely INSANE! like 215whp 158 tq at 9000rpm, what a F****** car thats my insparation however i think building that with a little boost aplication on top won't hurt but will multiply the fun??

D1KINGZ 09-17-2008 11:08 AM

sounds like a good plan. Hope to see something badass from you next year.

carpartts84 09-17-2008 11:46 AM

no offense just looks too riced in my opinion! im more into stock cars tho

D1KINGZ 09-17-2008 01:29 PM

Lets see yours^^:)

boost + all motor build = Kaboom!

i guess ppl could say it looks rice...:confused: but i try my best to take it as far away as possible from that i mean NO ALUMINUM WINGS,BODYKITS,Z3 FENDERS, OR ANYTHING RACTIVE/CANADIAN TIRE those are all on the not install even if free list lmao but okay... post up some pics fo yours like D1Kingz said. picsorbanpicsorbanpicsorban

lol your probably right but i meant to say an all-out boost motor with a light boost application so i don't catapult my pistons through my hood!:headbang:

sikkkkktegra 09-17-2008 09:37 PM

ok i dont get this further.. all-out boost motor with light boost application? then why spend all the money to make it that way, stock gsr can handle light boost. built boost engine + low boost = as useless as 2 gay guys in a roshambo fight.

Stugatts 09-17-2008 09:44 PM

well... let's see how i can explain this..lol... i want to build my car to be able to handle high amounts of boost but don't actually want to run upwards of 11 psi MAX because of reliability issues and so forth.. i basically want to strengthen my block lets put it as a mild-motor build with a Excellent tune and 7 psi like i said above to reach my 270whp goal.

sikkkkktegra 09-17-2008 10:17 PM

excellent tune? better run to the states for that.

Stugatts 09-18-2008 05:18 AM

really? whats wrong with the Crome tunning done around here?? I heard Nick at -------- is pretty good or my buddy who has used Magnus has done a decent setup b4

the only thing that can be considered rice and can be ignored at the same time are the clear corners. but overall the car looks good. it's not riced out at all. Looks good to me.

Stugatts, the car looks good YO! you know haters always pop-up
carpartts84, POST PICS OF YOURS OR GTFO

Stugatts 09-18-2008 04:47 PM

lmao yee i dunt care about the comment until i see pics of what he has to compare it too... the clears were part of the deal for the CF hatch.. the guy wanted my stock ones and said he wud give me those and bump $50 off the price so i took it seeing as i can get oem ones for $40 used possibly.

D1KINGZ 09-18-2008 07:32 PM

stilll waiting for

carpartts84 to post pictures
