first of all the black livery has been their test livery for years now...and i must admit the new car looks like ***...i mean i understand what they are trying to do but where is the essence of F1? They should have stuck to the good ol championship white...w/red/black like the honda classic...

 

guarenteed that'll only be kept for a couple of races.... even the richest teams can only go so long without sponsorship

 

Yeah the black livery is for testing purposes. They mainly use black as it is more difficult for other teams to spot things on the chassis or aero package live or in pictures.

I myself was looking forward to seeing something sleek and stylish by Honda.. hopefully the livery that follows this one is better.

 

Anyone else see the irony here?? A full out race car, supporting enviromental issues, when it probably pollutes the air/ozone more in one season than 100 commuter cars on the road do in a full year of driving. Not to mention all the other cars on the grid.

I think it's ugly as well. The only thing I find pretty cool is the fact that you you contribute, your name will be placed on the car even if it can only be seen with a microscope.
