You can find the gear ratio's for tegs and civic's here. http://www.team-integra.net/sections...0df7e7955b.jpg http://www.g-speed.com/pbh/guide.html Formula 1st -> 2nd : rpm you shift at or redline x (2nd gear ratio/1st gear ratio) = landing rpm in second gear 2nd -> 3rd : rpm you shift at or redline x (3rd gear ratio/2nd gear ratio) = landing rpm in 3rd gear 3rd -> 4th : rpm you shift at or redline x (4th gear ratio/3rd gear ratio) = landing rpm in 4th gear 4th -> 5th : rpm you shift at or redline x (5th gear ratio/4th gear ratio) = landing rpm in 5th gear Here's a example that I made up below. BTW I rounded the number to nearest 100rpm. 94-01 LS/GS/RS/SE 1st Gear Ratio 3.230 2nd Gear Ratio 1.900 3rd Gear Ratio 1.269 4th Gear Ratio 0.966 5th Gear Ratio 0.714 Final Gear 4.266 Redline (RPM) 6800 1st -> 2nd : 6800rpm x (1.900/3.230) = 4000rpm 2nd -> 3rd : 6800rpm x (1.269/1.900) = 4500rpm 3rd -> 4th : 6800rpm x (0.966/1.269) = 5200rpm 4th -> 5th : 6800rpm x (0.714/0.966) = 5000rpm ITR Tranny 96-97 Spec 1st Gear Ratio 3.230 2nd Gear Ratio 2.105 3rd Gear Ratio 1.458 4th Gear Ratio 1.107 5th Gear Ratio 0.848 Final Gear 4.400 Redline (RPM) 9200 9000 Redline 1st -> 2nd : 9000 x (2.105/3.230) = 5800 rpm 2nd -> 3rd : 9000 x (1.458/2.105) = 6200 rpm 3rd -> 4th : 9000 x (1.107/1.458) = 6800 rpm 4th -> 5th : 9000 x (0.848/1.107) = 6900 rpm Notice the final drive has nothing to do with what rpm you land at when you upshift. Hope that clears up some of the confusion. Enjoy! |

Just put in your car make, year and model and it will show you all diagrams once you click on the part. Acura Parts @ AcuraAutomotiveParts.org - Genuine Acura OEM Parts from Acura Carland |
AcuraOEMParts.com is another one. it's good to look up part numbers so that when you call the dealership, give them the numbers and you're guaranteed to get the right parts.
