Default The Good, the Bad, & the ugly!

So I could not pass this up, but now i need to make a decision. Respray of the whole car seems like it will need to be put into the plans if I keep this. A little bit of rust but way less then I would need to fix on my white Integra. But I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Car is a 95, with a b16 in it, needs very little to make it road worthy, Came with lowering springs, header, 2.5" exhaust from the header back. Wired for a sub & deck, 3 gauges wired and working. Brand new stage 2 clutch. PS, PL, PM, ABS, Sunroof, Cruise, but it just might be one of the dirtiest car I have ever seen I wanted to put rubber gloves on to park it in my garage. So nasty. But very happy with this. Parts might be available, or it might come as a complete running certified car, if I decide to keep my white teg. Let me know what you guys think.

I have an extra set of 94 to 97 tails that I am going to redout and throw on there tonight, gonna pull the front and rear bumper and see what its going to take to get them to align properly.

Massive cleanup. You guys are welcome to come and give me a hand or stand around and watch, pizza and beer on me, or i could get some real cooked food, like rice & peas with jerk or fired chicken. Let me know guys.

Lol at the ashtray under the ebrake, dam! But the rust looks way more manageable then your current car, ontop of which it's a vtaakkkkkk which was what you were going for(semi anyways).

When do you plan on cleaning it out??? and where abouts are you located

Cool cool, I might shoot you a text tonight or tomorrow if I'm free, what are your plans with the engine? Are you gonna keep the b16 or still do a b20 build.

Well if I don't get the b16 sold by next weekend, its going into my teg, till I can find a buyer for it, or untill I finish with my B20 build.

The interior will look like a brand new car when I'm done with it tonight. Wish i could say the same about the body.

hey just read through the ad. so was this teg originally that purple colour? and if so, are you going to keep it that colour? The reason I am asking is because I have EVERY panel, fender, bumper for that colour. Dont ask why lol, but I do. taking the panels and swapping them on their, minus the roof would be alot cheaper. Theres no rust either..let me know. oh yeah, and i got grey leather with door panels that came with the SE pkg in that colour..

If its a b16 with a ls tranny it would be huge fail in 5th gear, But curious what you paid for a car in that condition...

its not purple it just looks purple due to one of two things, cheap bb camera, or bad lighting. The car is actually a very nice dark grey. If I do keep the car, I would just swap my rsx leathers into it, but thank you very much for the offer.

It really wasn't that bad, it doesn't seem like it was an LS tranny because the pickup was so quick IMO, I paid less then 999, lol.

There is definitely potential with this car but a ---- load of work too. It does have less rust then your current white dc but that was your first one and thats the original build car. Hard decision ahead of you. Maybe a part out is the best way to go with it considering the price paid for it.

Because you asked so nicely.
Swapped to 94-97 Tails, Pulled the interior out... Vacuumed, washed, scrubbed down carpet with a wire brush. Vacuumed again, Detailed the engine but didn't have time to finish. Fixed the issue with the car not starting intermittently. Found out there is a little money into this motor too, running a +98 TypeR - 4 into 1 header. And some motor work done.

Things to Fix
The drivers side axle needs a rebuild or swap, Would like to do a tranny flush, and oil change. Need to find a lower tranny dust shield, suspension is very soft, pretty much blown. Small oil leak at back of block

Things i would like to do when I have time.
Swap my interior over, swap headlights & HID's in, put in a few other goodies. Suspension & Rims

Put my white teg up for sale!!!

Lol agreed driving with seats that aren't bolted in is like driving a 1000hp drift car.

So a little mini update, the leathers are now in the car, along with some HID's, installed a nice deck & speakers so I can listen to some music while driving. Replaced the starter, put my rims & tires on only to realize that the rears are so blown, that the tires are being scrapped by the fenders. So put on 2 steelies on the rear for now.

Picked up a set of s2 LCA, and a few other engine goodies. Picks will follow shortly....
