Nice car. I would take one in a second, but certainly not over a jap rocket. I know the American super cars handle better than they used to but they still will never compare to the usable handling a jap car. Straight line speed doesn't mean much with the way the laws are.

Looks wise it's true, they really can't be beat.

 

The super cars are right beside the others (if you're talking super cars) hell, even the new Z06 is a big contender.

 

American cars are getting better, cause they have to keep up with the import competition...they still need to work on their quality...


Jeff, is totally right...the new ZR-1 corvette recorded the fasted lap at the nurburgring track...with a time of 7Mins 24.4seconds...it beat the new GT-R...which had a track time of 7Mins 29seconds...

 

not to mention that the zr1 is on a platform that been essentially the same for the last 10 years. Even the 2006 and up z06 is supercar contender...and with an msrp of 75000 theres not much that can beat it.
