I've seen this happen b4 on the way back from Cayuga! lol

Dont know why anyone would try this on the hwy, but to each his own!

i bet the cruisers were going over 150 to catch him. my question is how fast were the opp going? cruisers should have speed limiters set @ 149km/h as its illegal to drive over 150

Its not illegal for Any emergency vehicles to do more than 50km per hour if they are responding to an emergency, and getting this dumb F*** off the road in my opinion was an emergency before he killed someone. dont get me wrong though i hate the fact that some officers, that are suppose to inforce the law think they are above the law and can do what ever they feel like

he got caught burying the needle, i've done this years ago but now i'm more mature with my driving habbits and the laws are to stiff for this now wich is good becuse at the end of the day this ---- is very dangerous to you and evryone else on the road. He should be enjoying his car on the track if he has the urge to get up to that speed.

if the computer isn't governed then you can take the final gear as high as it will take you before you hit your rev limiter in that final gear unless you have engine and ecu work done then your tranny will pull you up to a higher speed with your higher redline.

i think we've all done a few wreckless rips on the highway but the thing you have to realize is times have changed and you can't get away with this ---- anymore, be thankfull you got away safely with it in the past and if you have the urge or somehting to prove now then you and your buddys can meet up at the track and do it where you are welcome.

i guess she knows her ---- then, either way buddy is being made an example of and it's just another growing incedent wich is going to make the cops and laws that much tougher against street racers and modified cars this season and in the future. I'm not going to be surprised at the amount i get harassed this year by the cops with my car's there going to be all over modified or fast looking cars with a biased judgement on us and you can thank guys like this next time it happens to you.

my parents third car was a G35 coupe, used to rip that around all the time. I was doing 260 on the 407 one time, no cops though...lucky. Now i don't do that ----, if i'm in a rush i'll do 130-140 for a short while, can't push your luck.

i got cought at 150 and i got the same charge as him thats some bullshit, they really gotta go over this law again, so basically what there saying is anything past 150 and beyond you get the same ticket, how dumb is that i now its dumb to drive that fast but they gotta put set fines on certain speeds

Time to give mother a call and have her insure the vechile..it's much cheaper to change the ownership over to someone with clean record.

Wasn't there a guy recently in a SLR or something it took the cops a while to catch him on dvp, think they caught up at finch.
I've done about 170 on 407 that too following other cars i still couldn't stay right behind. People drive pretty fast on the 407, even those sube vans and so.
