hey mike935 does the clay bar fill in the paint chips as well. i was gonna use a clay bar before winter hits.

let me know or pm me if you can

lates!

Buff4Prez Yo 10-30-2007 03:22 AM

claybar removes crap that's stuck to the paint that a wash won't get off.

excellent job on the detail!
what did you use for your LSP?

excellent flake shots too!

judging by the overpasses on the fender, you're using a random orbit yes? Hard to make it out in the pics but it looks like a 10". You should try a rotary. Requires some practice but once you have it down, you can finish off an Integra in 6 hours no problem. Also, using smaller pads allows the abrasives in the polish to break down faster. It won't let you do as much at a time though, but your job will come out better, especially on Honda paint since it's so soft.

Nice looks great.

carbon fibr 02-27-2011 07:15 PM

Damn I gotta do mine. Lookin fresh

ektypess 03-05-2011 12:05 PM

Get a orbital polisher at Canadian tires, get some maguire Swirl remover or maguire polishing cream.
Polish your car with a orbital polisher, its impossible to burn the paint.
After that, Use the orbital Polisher and apply wax, wait 5-10 minutes, if you wipe it with your finger, it should come off clean, not smudge or too hard.
Apply a second coat if you wish too. and your done!

AcuratePaul 03-05-2011 01:16 PM

Clay bar is one of the best things you can use on your car. Takes a really long time but you can really feel the difference.

h8s2spd 04-15-2011 03:52 AM

Looks really nice!
