I bought a set of cheap ebay headlights solely for their clear lenses so I could retrofit a set of Morimoto H1 projectors into them.

And that's it. A huge upgrade from a pnp hid kit, and I love the cool purple line in the cutoff The whole process of building the lights took me a few months due to my busy schedule, but it was well worth it.

Where did you get your Morimoto H1 projectors from? And do you have any pics of what u did to make them work.

 

I got the projectors online from 'the retrofit source'. I also purchased a set of morimoto 5000k hid bulbs, and just plugged them into the old ballasts i have. As for the DRLs, they are LED. and I didn't take too many pictures while building them.

 

I need to do this so bad. Tired of the shitty output of HID's on stock projectors. Good job man
