I still dont see one decent looking DA from any member on this board. All I see are the pics from the ones in Cali....
i guess mine isnt decent looking?
Sorry john i love your integra its nice, but all you had was it slammed on rims, lipkit.?? you had a gsr motor as well i like it and im not hating on it one bit. but to say my car isnt decent is a insult to me. I know there are probably a handful of members on here that have seen my da in person an no how much i have took care of it and transformed it.
As well people tell me it's really nice I get compliments all the time, because honestly like all you guys said how many nice da's do you see?? Mark's is nice as well, he transformed his car to what it is. Me and his car both were in rough shape in beginning. Mine was worst the body work was a headache and a pain in the ***. In years to come who knows its an old car I may get rust but ill fix it not avoid it. I love the da' platform its the only reason i got into the honda scene. I know in 4 years from now ill probably have to reweld my floors, rite now i got a tiny bit of rust on the driver side floor but overall its mint. Thing is at the end of the day we all have integra's.. but the thing is i have a car thats 1) way older then most peoples, 2) dont often see a nice da like you do other newer car's. 3) my car will be 20 years old or 21 and by that time ill be blowing alot of the newers cars off the road and its going to look newer then other cars out there. MY major help was dave he really took my car to a new level and all my new mods this year which are not alot, will be done by him and only him he really made my car the way it is today. Plus mark helped me find alot of parts that were hard to find, and helped me with my car. Im not even close to being done, i wanna repaint my bumpers now but oksana wont let me so i have to wait until next spring, rite there that tells you how much i care considering i got my car painted 10 months ago?

Very very well put 1sickda.....I may add that DA's are nothing like the DC,EG,EK's out there with every well known company making parts for them in the aftermarket...the point of building a DA is a challenge some like and some don't...but that doesn't give that person a right to put this car down at all...infact you should praise this car,remember what platform was the first to get the 4 cyl VTEC! the DA!
I like to see any DC run against Patrick Dupuis black DA...he's put in so much time & effort in his build it boggles the mind,that car has been on 3 continents just to pursue gains from it, holds records @ Mosport,Leguna Seca,Road Atlanta to name a few! I'll even put money on it that he hands you your DC on a golden platter!
Unless you've owned a DA and tried to improve it and not being able to find parts for it,only to have to make parts or do without you have nothing to say about what a DA is or capable of.
I've owned both DA's & DC's to compare the 2 is like comparing a Green Apple to a Red Apple....it's a matter of taste, but the DC will be much easier to achieve your goal then the DA since the parts out on the market for DC's is vast compared to DA's.

yea fuzzy im doing a full shaved to my bay next year and paint matching it to rest of the car. I had to get my car at the time on the road for work, now that i have a 00 civic daily driver my integra will be down time this winter. as well Im getting dave to build me something when the time comes. my engine bay area is wat needs attention next year. I put so much money and time and effort in it. you think im going to let my engine bay sit and look like that cmon fuzz dont you remember my car before?

look wat i did to my car, ok do i even have to explain you dont have to hate jon, i got fresh paint on my integra and i spent alot to do IT PROPERLY and you still hate on my car. my paint is fresh, and you still dont think my da decent thats a joke. by the way im pretty much 70% done the build on my car and im 21, so by time im 23 the car will be done completely, wat do i have left to do jon?? build my motor, paint the bay slam it then wat? o i forgot it just a rusted ---- old da.

In my eyes nothing on your car flows. Your wheel gap is retarded, why is the front so high as opposed to the rear? The tint takes the attention away from your paint and your interior needs help. Your wheels dont suit your car no matter how jdm you think it is or how much money you spent on it. The DA's shape is boxy, your wheels have a round shape. Do you really think putting on a fake lip kit is gonna blow everyone away?
Look at the pics posted by the op and get a clue on what a clean DA looks like

and brett, props to you for painting your car, however, it's not just the outside that makes a car look clean, it's everything. one thing i've learnt is that you can't have a nice car on the outside, and then pop the hood, open the door etc and have it looking like ---- underneath. it's like a fat girl wearing really revealing cloaths....well...kinda...o_O

i did say i have given up but im still playing with the idea now as its a hard instal and somthing has 2 b done with the mastercylinder. iv been incontact with some hotrod shops and it has been done. since my car going away for the winter for paint that might b the oppertunity 2 do it cuz i can move it up an inch or 2 and extend the petal and some lines but im still in research mode.
had a change of heart cuz i know ill ahev the car for at least 4-5 more years and with gas prices id rather run a blown 4banger and get 4-500km a tank on a good tune
but when it comes down 2 it i cant see myself in anything other than a DA or STI so since iv got alot already might as well not half *** her and complete her as she deserves i already bought it might as well try 2 put the charger in

everbody judge n look at cars diff ways. a car might look good for this person ,but not the other , what u think it flows well might not be the same for me or othe ppl. dont hate just cas its not ur taste, few ppl on this site really seems to bash DA's, i dont know why? we all love honda/acura just have diff taste n opinion. dont bash each other on the site, just bash each other face nx time at the meets wen u guys c each other!!!
