Default Crazy Wing!

I was on the 407 yesterday when I saw this WRX with this CRAZY wing. I know it's probably functional but the thing was hideous. It looked like a bookshelf.

Camera phone FTL.

I believe that's the WRC wing. I saw it today as well in Sauga on Burnhamthorpe.

I dont think Rallyers would put a non-functional part on their WRC car.

Yeah, I think they last names are Sprongle (sp) Long time Canadian Ralliers. Very Functional, at speed that is.

The wing is designed to keep the car stable when airborn. Subaru WRC car doesn't mess around. When running 26 lbs when iddling...

Its designed to keep it level so it doesn't take a nose dive when it goes air born.

hence why it's called a wing "stabilizer". how are verticle fins helping with downforce? :laugh1:
