Default Clutchless Shifting?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AJXsVj-PMg

i saw this video last night. so i thought i would try it out.
i have heard about this before from my previous work place.

tried it out today and it actually worked.
only question is.
is this bad for the transmission?

i grinded like once or twice going into 3rd gear when i started but now i have figured out how to do it with out grinding and everything goes in smooth.
Much much quicker with ALMOST no delay between shifts

I wouldn't try it. It maybe (or probably is) too hard on the gears.

***** old news.. you just have to match the revs with the gear ratios... really easy to do.

same theory as truckers.. Does not harm synchros as long as the revs match up the gear ratios! it only hurts it if you force it at the wrong rev.

geez lol i can't even think about grinding gears or shifting without using the clutch cuz i just replaced my clutch and got a new tranny. but i'll definately try that shifting without using clutch on a rental car may be. lol

1 of the big boss's at my shop area
he has a 92 jdm nissan pulsar and he tracks it

anyway i talked to him about it and he said aslong as you dont grind the gears it dosnt harm the transmission. he does clutchless aswell at the track most of the time.

avocado masks or whatever. he had to pull the cucumber slices off his eyes. maybe he just came from the spa. lol

clutchless shifting is easy once you figure out when you can and can't do it. i learned how to do this years ago. i had to do it all the way across town in my beater. i had to get it to dave yo's cuz my clutch cable get go.
