Here you go, the hatch...I personally don't like the look but don't forget it's a concept.

I figured it's easier if you guys can just click on the link rather than I post the huge pics. Enjoy.

Apart from the HUGE TypeR stickers, I actually think I like everything under the side-molding line from the front to the back wheels. I agree 100%, the back is hideous. However, I have to qusetion who, exactly this car is marketed to. It looks like Ractive has already had a go at the taillights and gas cap. Those massive brakes say "track me!!", but I'm not going to hold my breath to see a civic come off the truck rollin on dubs...
Obviously, I don't expect to see us get a ctr here. Even if we did, I'm certain they would give us back the itr first (and don't expect to see that anytime soon, either). The current gen Si is about as good as Honda will give for the next few years, but I'd still take a type-S first.
As of late, the rumor mill has been churning about a new CRX. IMHO, that is the only hope for Honda to release a current gen civic in stock trim that actually looks... good.
For example:
Take 1 prototype ctr;
Exchange the 20s for 16s;
Remove hood bulge;
Lower roofline 2 inches;
Change the rear of the vehicle to reflect the sexy 88-91 glassback;
Voila! A good looking civic... That might not cost over $30,000.
PS - I fear there's not too much to be done about the terrible dashboard at this point in time...
