Now I'm trying to decide which rims to get. What do you think would be a better fit for the STEYE.

Nice ride! I have a weakness for STis..................
I wonder if they'd let us swap cars at an autoX sometime?

The lip is a jdm sti spec c front lip made out of urethane. As for the emblem its the STI emblem.

I have been thinking about a STi for a while. What’s the deal with these cars, are they $$$ to own (insurance, maintenance, gas, etc, etc) How is theft? Also, if you purchase a used one how’s the reliability?

Cholo pays peanuts since he is in Windsor. The ins. rep. didn't even have the Sti or impreza on file. He is paying dirt cheap.

in regards to theft, shouldn't be a problem unlike the 03-04(??) where they didnt' have immobilizers and theft was rampant for them and it made the most stolen list.

I don't know how insurance is in TO so can't realy tell you. As for mantenance everyone talks about breaking drive shafts, well you will be breaking drive shafts if your launching your car at 6000 + rpms at an auto x event Now if you launch the car at around 5000-5500 rpms you should be okay. I've tried both and the results of your car getting out of the start box is close to the same. As for gas you can forget it, its a freaken fish

gold rgII's sir!

how heavy are those jdm sti spec c rims? if they offer insignificant weight differences, then why bother. how about s203 rims?

i say just go aftermarket. RGII's, CE28's, or ssr type C's will match and are lightweight.

The spec c rims weigh in at 18x8 at 19.8 lbs. As for the STI s203 18x8.5 rims, I do like them just to dam expensive, last I checked there going for $4300 + shipping and no tires.
