many of you may have already know it, but check out this link to counterfeit cars from china. and the chinese automobile manufacturer Geely (jee-lee) will be coming out with rip-off sport compact looking cars of mercedes benz to be sold in the US in summer 2008. yikes.

Yup, China and Korea have built and manufactured very large x-ray type machines to duplicate the technology of other automakers and are fed into autocad. R & D couldn't be any easier.

here's a counterfeit of the isuzu rodeo/honda passport.
the automaker is called jlangling and the model is called Landwind
pretty isn't it?

i guess it was only a matter of time. There should be some laws against that, i wonder how much they cost tho, but with such poor safety standards no matter how cheap they were i'd never risk getting them.
