This was on discovery or speed recently. They had it do a run and compared to a 'human' driver. I think the diff was within 1sec! Wonder what might happen with more grippy tires

It's impressive and if you guys actually listened to the video, they are not developing a self-drive car. They are using the technology to test the parameters of the technology and specifications of the car.
