I think you meant convert the rear end with tail light conversion cause the sileighty has the fastback just like a teg.

 

ya ure right my bad, what im talking about there is another term... there is like 4 diff combos for a 180sx and a silvia lol

 

A sill eighty is the 180sx with a silvia front end on it. The 180 is the same chassis as the fastback 240 here. The one shown is a coupe or Silvia in Japan some one already mentioned it but he was correct that if he did the conversion it would look like a usdm 240sx coupe.

ya 240's are nice but in order for u to fix that front end.... ooo boy are u gonna spend monies! hence the silvia front end comes in cuz they are cheap as hell... i believe nissan even had a few hundred factory built sil80's in 1998 that u could buy at the dealership, thats pretty cool

but you can obtain silvia front ends at any local jdm shop. so if you get into a front end accident you can easily repair it.
and the rear can be swapped out with usdm parts.

 

let me put it into easier english...... POP UP LIGHT FRONT END = MORE $$$$
FIXED LIGHT FRONT END = LESS $$$$

so im saying if ure 240 gets mashed up u can change over with a silvia and it will be cheaper..... how hard is that to understand?

do you have any idea how many 240's are in toronto alone?

pop up headlights front end are a dime a dozen

if anything it'll cost more money to fix the silvia front end since the headlights are so scarce.

 

i dunno bout toronto ill take ure word for it, but buddy of mine who lives here in sauga got his 240sx fixed with silvia front end and it cost him way less than wat ppl were trying to sell usdm ones for and the usdm ones he did find were kaka like either rust or broken etc....
