Default Auto to Manual swap

Hey guys..... I have just bought a auto trans 95 teg....i m thinkin bout swapping the engine from b series to k series and getting manual transmission.... Sum ppl told me to sell ur teg n get 5 spd...but I got this ride for a very sweet price.... but I m really disapointed as there isn't much mods avilable to automatics comparable to 5 spd.... One of mah buddies told me u can still install turbo kit in auto tans... but i m not sure bout that... if soemone knows if that is possible and please if someone can also tell me what if I get cold air intake and exhaust would that boost up performance for automatic........n please lemme kno if sumone knows how much will it cost to replace engine for k series and swapping auto to manual 5 spd....please let me know.... all replies will be appreciated...

Thanks

if you do turbo, chances are you're gonna have to beef up the tranny. look into auto to 5spd swap. and if you decide to do it just pray that you find ppl parting out 3rd gens

Auto to manual + K series swap... using quality parts and quality labour will run you around 10k... especially if you depend solely on a shop to source the parts and do the work... which it seems like that'd be the case for you... for that money you can just do an auto to manual swap on your existing setup, and build it to kill any k-series setup.... just something to think about.

+1 "let's keep it straight"

try finding a salvage or junk yard for most of the parts. Source out a parts list
via the various integra/car forums

i'd have to agree. i used to want a k, but too many people have it nowadays, and the origionality points have gone down as fast as paris hilton in her sex vid. if you want to be origional motor wise and you are going to spend the money on a k, why not try and find a tsx in a junk yard. never seen the 2.4 swap done

i hate when people soup autos up but thats just me, i think manuel is better also because u can control your rpm to what you want and when u have an auto its hard to really use the vtec but when u have a manuel its easy.
