A Stock '89 NSX is quite comparible

Power 270HP/Weight 2650lbs
Power-to-Weight ratio: .102

Yes, I am still not impressed. My car put down 400AWHP at 16lbs on a Clayton Dyno, and that is still under effeciency point for the turbos. Plans for this coming summer include Fuel Delivery Upgrades and a Stand Alone. That should put in up in the 600+ range.

Power-to-Weight ratio: .129

Its also a well balanced car with Chassis Refreshment done by HKS/Kansai

So overall for a $35,000 car the S2000 in my opinion is not worth it.

Jonn: 400WHP was a lot but is not enough anymore. Once you get used to driving the car you crave more power. That's just how it is. If I had a honda I'd be happy with 200WHP, but I don't anymore and people with this car on avg. run 600 HP. So I have a long ways to go. FYI I've never made fun of you or your car so quit the sobing already. I'm not here to argue of bs anymore.
