Default 05 Headlights Retrofit - Quad Setup - TSX & E46 Projectors & Projector Turn Signal

My retrofit is finally done, and I cant wait to install everything!

Low Beam - TSX Projectors w/ Color MOD - MDX Shrouds
High Beam - Bi-Xenon E46 Projectors - MDX Shrouds
Turn Signal - Projector

If anyone is interested in getting a retrofit done on their car let me know.
I sell Projectors, shrouds, HID Kits, headlights.
I also send them to the US to get the work done so I can also help you with that.

Let me know what you guys think, Thanks

Why would you spend so much money on retrofitting the daytime/highbeams?

None the less it looks decent, I prefer more a oemish look.

When you got something like that you can see it in the day, thats why.

Very nice man, balling y0. How much the project cost you? Like $2000 a headlight lol

what a waste of money imo.

custom lightz does good jobs. as thats what they specialize in. but however, money could've been invested well else where

so you're just going to flash the high beams now? and then end up ruining a nice set of bulbs? and are you putting hids in the turn signal projector too?

Waste of money? Who are you to justify weather I’m wasting my money or not? We are the Canadian distributor for Kaixen HID's and I want to display the product for my customers.

Third - Bi-xenon projectors control high beam operation by moving the cut off shield not by flashing the high beams. Lol

Projector turn signal is going to use normal bulbs. It just complements the look by having a third projector.

I agree it looks good, but its not something myself would spend my money on. But to each his own, and I assume thats what he prefers to do with is money. Aesthetics

On a side note.

Saifff... SKUNK2 Test and Drive... ASAP PLEASEEE.

Here's how the program works:

Contact a friendly Skunk2 Racing Sales rep at testdrive@skunk2.comand let them know that you would like to participate in the "Test Drive" program. The Skunk2 Sales Rep wil give you a special price for the "Test Drive" program.

Pick out the right Skunk2 Pro-C Coilover for your vehicle to "Test Drive" for a period of one week.
You will be charged a special discounted price for the coilovers plus freight and have one week to evaluate the product. If you decide to keep the product, simply contact the Skunk2 sales representative that originally helped you and let them know that you woud like to keep the coilover. If you do not want to keep the coilovers, simply return the coilover after talking to the sales team and they will arrange for you to send the coilovers back.

Once the coilovers are returned to Skunk2, they will be inspected and if they are in good condition, you will receive a full refund*

yea, I read all that, but I was wondering, seeing as you are a vendor, if I can pick up the Pro-Cs through you, therefore avoiding duties and all that.

yes i am familiar with how bi-xenons work, however, so that means, you'll be running 4 xenon lights on at all times as well as your fogs.

and by being a kaixen, how does that show there kit? you're using oem projectors, are you not suppose to show them how it looks in non-hid cars, as that's what your goal is to sell them to a non-hid community? last time i understood business was that you supply things that people don't have, by doing it this way, and saying it the way you represent it, you're more so advertising for Custom Lightz as they did the retro for you.

but anyways, as for the headlights, you'll be running wires from low and to both xenons, and then running a diode on the high for bi-xenons? its not liek you're goign to get that much more light, you should've just retro'd bi-xenons in your low beams. and have a halogen flash instead for high beams, but in the end your money so whatever.

let me clear a few things with you.

1. by using a relay the e46 projectors will turn off as soon as i hit the fog light switch.

2. All three lights will be powered by the Kaixen Panasonic/K2 ballast.

low beam - 4300K Phillips Bulbs
High beam - 6000K KAixen D2S Bulbs
Fog Lights - 4000K Kaixen H11 Bulbs

I get asked a lot the difference between OEM 4300K and 6000K, this way I will be able to show customers the real deal instead of pictures.

3. For guys interested in doing a retrofit, I also sell Projectors, shrouds, etc

4. There are a lot of cars coming with projectors from factory that come with or without HID's. Like the Mazda3, look at the housing and it clearly says D2S or H7.

5. Kaixen makes complete kits for vehicles that come with HID from factory. Lets say a customer with a Lexus blows the ballasts on their car, to get that repaired its gonna cost around $1000 + at the dealership. With Kaixen he can buy the whole kit 2 panasonic ballast 2 igniters, D4S Connectors and hook that up to the OEM bulbs or even buy new 5000K Kaixen bulbs for half the price.

6. This retro had nothing really to do with more light, if i wanted that I would have put hid in the high beam and blind the ---- out of everyone.
Jus wanted a unique and clean look.

BTW running low beam wires to four ballast will fry the wires
Also there are a few vehicles coming out from factory with low and high beam projectors, you should contact them and tell him its not a good idea!

Your not making sense. The way Bi-Xenon works is by moving a sheild inside the projector. If the projector isn't already on all your doing is killing the life of your bulbs, plus they won't be at operating temp anyways so will be dimmer than your already on lowbeams. So your going to be driving around with your low's and drl's/highs all the time? Plus the fogs?

Again what a waste of money plus having on anymore than 4 lights total at a time is illegal. Tell me one car that's oem that has hid highbeams that have seperate low beams like the rsx.

and to top it off he now sells HID retrofit parts..---- THAT.. you can all go to HIDplanet.com head into the BST forum and buy it a market price.. or better yet.. I have a retrofitter that does it local in Mississauga and turnaround is 7 days or less.

Its to bad that you feel that way but I was never trying to give you that impression. BTW since you "DO" retro's, I would love to see some of your work. Post it on here and lets see what kind of quality work you have performed.

Bi-xenon works on two circuits. The first one is for the bulb from the ballast for on/off. The second is what controls the solenoid that moves the cut-off shield inside the projector to give you high beam.

I have disconnected the DRL Module and my lights turn on automatically when the turn is turned on.

No, I will be driving around with my low beam and fog lights. As soon as I turn the fog lights off the high beam side turns on. When I flash the high beam the cut-off shield moves down and I have high beam. So only 2 sets of lights when be on.

I never said anything about OEM coming with this setup, I said there are cars coming OEM with two projectors for low and high.

I never said PnP Kits are better than what comes from OEM. I said not everyone can afford them and PnP kits are good if you don’t want to spend a lot of money. I was giving people a choice to purchase a better quality PnP kit than the cheaper stuff.

Read what was said in that thread a few months ago. I dont know how that makes me a HYPOCRITE cux I had this planned out way before i become a Vendor on TI.

I'm gonna be using my Panasonic kit and D2S bulbs. This is the same setup in the TSX.
That cut-off line is created by the projector and has little to do with the HID kit you use unless you use a different color temperature in the bulbs.
When it comes to quality, This PnP kit is better than 99% of the stuff out there.
Most of the PnP kits are made in China or Taiwan and use cheap stuff. Very few have a DOT rated ballast and I offer 2 year warranty. I'm not trying to bash OEM, but not everyone can afford to spend around $1000 to retrofit their headlights.

Thanks to Tommy from TI who traded those TSX projectors for my 98+ all red tail-lights back in August.

I run a business and I work on demand and supply. I can sell whatever I want to my customers. Also, let’s see how good your retrofitter is, post up some pictures.

retrofitting imo has two levels of difficulty.
level 1: simple circular shaped halogen lens. (such as yours, integras, any halogen projector type)
level 2: the wild and custom type. which requires custom shrouds and mounting brackets.

i do have my retro's posted, but you have to be a premiere member to see it. i have done a retros on lvl1 and lvl2. but those are only lvls i state, just because it becomes so vague. for your instance on a 05-06 rsx its easier, doing it on a 02-04 i will technically consider it 2, because it doesn't exactly have a straight circular lens.

but anyways. wildout and sic1 knows there ----.

about you saying how running two hids on a low beam wire is a no no. than clearly you did not read when i wrote diode, if you know what that is, or did you get custom lights make you a harness as well.

and speaking of your hi/low beam what's the point of having two projo's in low beam shining out? it'll be so pointless having two projo's running. and for the auto shutoff, you must have a killer relay system going, i'm goign to assume that thing doesn't see winter, cause once salts touches those relays, say bye bye to them soon.

also oem cars that comes with 2 projo's are not what you think, one is halogen, and one is xenon. the halogen is used for drl. and the xenon usually bi-xenon is used for everythign else. from what i recall.
