For those having track withdrawals or want to learn to drive in the snow... we still have the track open at TMP (Cayuga) on Saturdays if there is snow on the ground.

Drivers come out to learn better winter driving skills. Collision avoidance is your first lifesaving skill when something bad happens on the road in front of you. How many of us have practiced this skill? How many of us were even taught collision avoidance when we learned to drive?
You learn your driving skill limits and expand that performance envelope in a safe way. Many years of “seat time” have taught our instructors to feel the car’s responses to your inputs and anticipate any handling issues before they occur. We will help you “learn to listen” to your car, all the while building your confidence on the road.

If you want to just lap that is fine too. Most use their own car so make sure you have a full tank and snow tires. If not, we have car rentals at the track.

Saturday, Feb 10th is the next Winter Advanced Driver Training Day at TMP. There are 5 – 10 centimetres of snow expected today and tomorrow. The high will be -6C. Time is from 10am to 4 pm. Cost is $100 (pre-register with me), $130 (at gate), plus $75 for group instruction (all plus HST). Cash only. Please bring your own lunch.


Note: Automatic Mustang OR Manual Accura Integra is available for rental... $300 per person, gas included.
