Sunday July 6th, 2008 – 6th Annual SGR Charity Car Wash & Dyno Day
Hey Everyone!
Sweetie Girl Racing is back hosting our 6th Annual Charity Car Wash and Dyno Day Event on Sunday July 6, 2008 from 11am-6pm at Magnus Motorsports. Magnus is located at 8600 Keele St., Unit # 33 Concord, and everyone is invited to come!
We had a wonderful turnout last year with 60 cars washed and 30 cars on the dyno! We want to see more of the community out this year to support our contribution towards the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. This year we will have lots of prizes and give-aways, barbeque, a 4wheel dyno, Dyno Awards, vendors, and some of the hottest cars on display!
Spectators: Free!
Car Wash: $8/car, $10/vans & SUV's
Dyno Runs: $85 for 2 wheel drive vehicles, $120 for 4 wheel drive/AWD vehicles
The Dyno runs will include three runs measuring horsepower, torque, and boost, air fuel ratio, data logging, and temp.
(Retail $100/hr for 2wheel, $150/hr for 4wheel + $50 for air/fuel + data logging, boost logger, temp)
Due to the limited Dyno spots we have available this year, preference will be given to those who pre-register. If you would like to Pre Register for the please go to our website www.sweetiegirlracing.com and follow the car wash links. Payment methods are as follows:
- Online at www.sweetiegirlracing.com. Click on the SGR Car Wash/Dyno day link and please follow registration and Paypal instructions provided.
- VIA Electronic Money Transfer. Please send all electronic money transfer to payment@sweetiegirlracing.com. Don't forget to follow up with an email with your name and phone number along with the password you have set with the transaction.
- Cheque made payable to "Sweetie Girl Racing." For mailing address & confirmations, please email us at payment@sweetiegirlracing.com for details. Please note that all cheques must be received and cleared no later than July 1, 2008 in order to participate on the Dyno.
- At the event. Those who choose to register on the day will be accepted on a first come first serve bases provided the dyno is not already sold out. Please note that priority and space allocation will be given to those that pre-registered ahead of time.
*Please note that all waiver forms completed on the day before your turn on the Dyno.
All proceeds from the Car Wash and Dyno will be going towards the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Our goal is to raise $2000 from our event. A strong turnout will be key for SGR to raise our donation goal this year. So come out and support us for cancer free breasts! Even if you don't want your car washed (by some hot ladies) you can just stop by and donate some money!! Tax deductible receipts will be available for those submitting monetary donations.

2 days to go! The weather forecast is shaping up to be a beautiful day!
We are still on the look out for male and female volunteers to help out with the event including security, food, registration and traffic etc. We take pride in this annual charity event as a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together and work together for a great cause and would welcome any friends & family that are available to help out. Furthermore, if you know any high school students who require community service hours as per the new diploma system who are available to volunteer, we are able to provide letter of recognition towards that.
SGR will be providing all volunteers a Special Edition SGR tank or shirt, free food and drinks! On top of that, those volunteers for the entire day will also receive a free raffle ticket(s) eligible to win prizes from our ongoing draw including a Grand Prix Kartway race suit (value $200) or a pair of -------- Racing Seats ($450 value) and goodies from our sponsors!! Don't forget that this is a charity event and the more help we can get, the easier it will be to reach this year's target.
