I found the FENCO brand to be really good pieces. I wouldn't trust NAPA's. I had to return 2 drive shafts because they wern't properly balanced and they clicked right out of the box.

NAPA CV shafts are good, but don't buy rebuilt shafts, spend the extra and get the new shafts. I had the rebuilts and went through 2 sets in 5-6 months ... put up the difference and got the "new" ones and had no probs since.
"new" shafts have new bearing cage, new bearings and new cup. Shafts are reused as long as the splines are good i paid approx $270 ea, but that's at least 6 years ago I suggest a place called Constant Velocity. I think they got a location at markham and finch. remember, look for "new" assemblies not rebuilts. If your ride is lower than 1.0", the angle and stress put on the end joints itself will cause them to deterioate faster. |
