I want to get just straight shocks, I have eibach springs but my ride is bumpy. I can feel every little crack or bump on the road. I'm thinking of getting new shocks, but i don't know which is better Tokico or KYB...

Please help me out with your opinions or experiences.

I would say KYB over Tokico. One of the things that sucks about gas shocks(tokico) vs oil (KYB, KONI, OEM etc) is that it is near impossible to see if the shocks are blown.

I heard from my buddy that gas shocks are better than oil shocks. I went to a shop yesterday and he said that Tokico is better than KYB... But he's a salesman so it's his job to say that so I wanted to make sure that I'm buying the right shock.

Pretty much all shocks for integras are gas charged with oil as the damping fluid. The gas keeps pressure on the oil so it does not foam and degrade performace. Tokico and KYB (or Kayaba) are both known as solid japanese OEM suppliers. OEM replacements with be pretty much the same, with the preformance shocks options will differ... i.e. damping adjustment.

Koni make solid products... I would hesistate to recommend Koni reds or yellows to anyone. Infact I'd advise to go with the Yellows and GC coilovers then go with an TEIN HA, Omni Power or similar setup. Upper end Teins are pretty decent however but a properly matched Yellow (revalved) and GC (increased spring rates) would still be my preference..

Koni's I would say are the better quality shocks.. But I have been running KYB AGX with H&R springs for 2 years no problems works great - best thing about it is the adjustable stiffness
Its entirely up to you though depending on what you can afford or if money is an issue or not. Good luck with it

I have Pro-Cs but they are not on yet. If you are looking for comfort, then throw that choice out the window. Pro-Cs are more stiff because its their race coilover, so if you still wanna go S2, get the Pro-S'.

Im running koni yellows and gcs and it is stiff enough for both track and street....also u can go down 2 purches and then still adjust the coill ...to make your car sit really low...
