Default What fluid to use in tranny

Hi all,

I wanted to change the trans fluid in the integra. It has the automatic and I was wondering what fluid I should use. I am not sure if I should switch to synthetic because there is a lot of kilometers on the trans (400K) and it has always had regular fluid.. I am not sure what one is suppose to go in the trans anyway, so any information would be great

Any suggestions???

I believe it is a Dexron II that the car takes originally but I have only seen Dexron III in stores.

Oh and smartass, I definitely will not use what you have in your head for brains.....

Another troll.... Why aren't you guys banning for these type of insults.... Oh I thought I was on another forum? yay for not banning this person.

If people actually read their manual, it tells you what fluids to use for automatic transmissions, you should use Acura OEM Automatic Transmission Fluid. Name: jack.gif

If you are refering to my comment I made SIC1, I apologize but I was just responding to a comment made to me. I did not think it was appropriate so I responded.

I actually do not have the helms manual yet, I messaged another member on how to get it a couple of days ago. I just got the car and there is no manual in the car. So I thought I would ask a question so I could find out quickly and i get a response like the one that was given by smartass , which was what I thought to be pretty snotty. I responded and then you want me banned, how about banning the person who said it first.

Anyway it does not matter, I recieved an answer thanks a lot to those who responded.
