It has been doing this 2 weeks now and its really annoying me. For some odd reason, the engine temp drops to cold when I drive and when I idle, the temp goes back to normal. Could it be the Password JDM intake is causing it.

Any advice is much appreciated.

 

a intake will not do that, check your coolent in the rad.

 

well considering the cold weather outside as ur driving ur engine is being cooled by just the atmosphere and as u idle its not, so that can explain the change in engine temp also.

 

I had the exact same problem, my temperature kept dropping to cold whenever i drove. i had it checked out by a mechanic and it turned out my thermostat was gone. i had it changed for $70 and everything was back to normal.

 

I just changed it and everything is normal again... Thx for the help.

Wow, $70 to get it changed??? the part only cost me $10

How do you change it? Is it easy? I need to do this myself.
