I just came back from my mechanic and i got an estimated quote of 900 to do the headgasket and water pump(labour and parts included)....... is this a ridiculous price to pay? if anyone out there knows someone that can do it for a better price please let me know. thankz

your better off buying a newer motor and swapping it in.

that's a damn good price, I'd love to rebuild my b17a1. i guess that will come in time.

its not hard to do why don't u try it ur self?? it might take u the day buit what ever at least u saved some money??
