hey again guys
this is my sec thread with engine problems this week, first one was (my teg revs from 800 to 1400 at stops) still having problems but I forgot to mention my vtec doesnt aways kick in, on good day it hits at 6000rmp (b16 a1) and other days is doesnt at all. I always let the car warm up before even hitting that high, I drive for about 10 min then let her go. (but I dont go nuts on it)


did a compression test and each one was roughly 200 think the lowest was 195, but they were all within 10

whats wrong with my vtec

Do you have a CEL?

 

Do you have enough oil?
Also it could be a faulty vtec solenoid.
Double check all the wiring to make sure nothing is loose.
