When using a skunk2 intake manifold with a gsR throttle body, will the throttle cable interfere with the type R strut bar?

What throttle cable are you using?

 

gsR throttle cable w/same mounting brackets etc...

 

it won't work

you need to buy a itr throttle cable and bracket


or

ls throttle cable and itr bracket turned backwards (my old setup)

the reason is the gsr throttle cable and bracket will hit the hood, since the skunk 2 manifold sits higher up in the engine bay.

But it'll clear the itr strut bar fine

 

The skunk2 manifold is in my car now and the throttle cable doesn't hit the JDM hood. As long as it'll clear the itr stut bar. Thanks again

Well if it fits with the gsr cable and bracket, your gonna have to let us know about if it fits with the itr strut tower bar

 

It's the earlier version of skunk2. It never came with the signature plate. They only started to make the plate after seeing all the fake one online. I will post the pics after I install the strut bar. It's on the way.
