type r parts bolt on to usdm?
got a 2k teg SE, i see a ton of ads with typeR parts, and i want to know what parts can actually be installed or bolted on to a usdm teg with no modifications. if any parts at all.
I am very interested in the anti rollbars mainly to improve handling but if anyone knows of an article or thread where parts are listed i'd like to see it. thanks!

Pretty much everything. Spoiler, center console, climate control, steering wheel, cluster, exhaust (if your piping is right, suspension (as long as you have the Type R lcas), seats, lip, door panels, carpet, floor mats, tail lights, ashtray, sway bars and ALOT more.
Wheels you will need to go 5 bolt. But everything is pretty much interchangeable. Consider the mechanical stuff upgrades. The things that dont fit is limited
The ONLY thing that you will need a decent amount of work on is a JDM front. That itself is a project on its own
And remember there is USDM Type R's, JDM Type R's, and UKDM/EDM Type R's. Parts may vary interms of looks for all 3/4 and some fit differently. Its hard to really put out a whole list. But I posted for the most part what fits normally. Anything else is just extra
What exactly are you wondering about in terms of what fits?

Vida thanks for the info!
I pretty much want to purchase the sway bars, front, rear, and trunk. does it make sense to buy typeR bars that are used over brand name aftermarket sway bars?
in terms of price usually the typeR bars are half or 30% off the price of the aftermarket bar or is it due to the quality the reason why aftermarket bars cost more? whats your take?

Well Type R sway bars are 22mm or 23mm. Its a perfect upgrade from our shitty LS ones. ASR has a 26mm, but thats overkill and is really good just on the track. So yea, Type R sway bars are the perfect upgrade. I dont know why theyre more expensive, probably because theyre newer maybe? a 10 year old sway bar isnt really that expensive, a new one would be.

The type r sway bars require type r linkages to them and are not quite a direct bolt on. Nizmo can shed some light on this, he's been therough it as well. I'm not sure how the lower contol arms come into the equation. To my knowledge, the type R headers are a bolt on but different where the joined pipe end meets your exhaust piping.
Type r lcas are different in that the lower end of the strut is fitted differently than other models where the strut hugs the lca. Type r lcas the strut is attached only on one side at the rear.
Strut bars, panels, and interior parts are direct fits with the exception of the lower part of the center console surrounding the shift boot. If you ever looked closely, you'll notice that jdm type rs have mirrored parts here vs the usdm integras. So to fit that part you'll need a corresponding jdm lower center console and also ashtray/cig lighter (this is swept the other way as well).
Hope this helps some.
