Default type r lip mouting hardware

Well my oem lip didn't come with the hardware to mount it and everything from acura to mount it comes out to about $140 which is over priced. Someone said I can use clips to mount them but i don't know where to find them i tried c-t and home depot. what else can i use to mount them?

Go to a wrecking yard and pocket a bunch of screws and clips. they come in handy all the time.

Exactly, all it is is something that sits between the oem lip and the rubber undergarment below the engine. Best way to mount an OEM lip is to glue or mold it onto the front bumper since its softer rubber and very flexible.

heeltoeauto.com has them for $61.00 if you want to buy stateside. otherwise, go to an autobody supply store (i think i saw some even at carquest) and you should be able to find foldover clip with metal inserts like the ones in the link below that are the dimensions you need. you should be able to get away with using four of them and have it sit secure and sit right..

do you really think that a few more 10mm bolts is going to keep a thief from your jacking a lip?
