Default Transmission Swap

Ok so I can get my hands on a 5 speed transmission. Its from a 1993 Honda Civic Hatchback and its hydraulic. I want to put it in a 1990 Acura Integra that is currently a cable tranny. Is this swap possible? I dont have the ID code from the tranny from the civic but you guys will probably know what it is. What do I need for this swap? Thanks.

judging that it's from a civic, it would be a D series transmission. On integras we generally have B series trannys, unless you have a first gen with a D16A in it, but unlikely. As too my knowledge you can't match the two up, Keep in mind that d motors make alot less power and TORQUE (I bold that because transmissions are only rated to a certain number of hp/tq before they have to be built, and dropping in a tranny graded for a weaker overall output would most likely mean its capabilities are lower aswell). But I'm sure it can be done if you really wanted to, I remember people use to do H22A swaps and instead of a longer gearing H tranny, they'd use the GSR or Type R tranny and mount it. Although it did require some special bracket which was next to impossible to find.

But that's just my two cents, I could be wrong about somethings.

if you need a 5spd tranny, i have two. one is out of my 90 and the other is out of my old 91 parts car. both cable, both work great.

Transmission out of the civic just won't work. It will not mount up. Also its hydro not cable so you would need to do some modifications if you were somehow able to mount it up.
Get a 90-93 integra B-series transmission that is cable. Anything like gsr/b16/ls in cable is all good.
