so one day i was reversing and then stopped and then put it into druve and then the s3 started blinking and when i stepped on the gas the car didnt move much at all. so i put it into park and then shut it off and then started it up again and put it in drive and it was fine .

what could this be ?

someone told me that it could be a sensor in my auto tranny.

and if it is what do you think would be best to do.
i was thinking of doing a compelete engine and tranny swap to a 5spd. or just pulling the auto tranny out and then replacing the sensor and also the torque converter.
