that sounds like dentonation.

you need to have your ignition timing re-adjusted since you changed your cam timing.

hmmm.....sounds like you have some weird issues.....have the shop who did the timing for you re-check everything carefully. im willing to bet that the cam timing is still off one tooth or the ignition timing is out to lunch.
