Default Timing Belt Blew

Driving down the road 60km/h 2000 rpm and all of a sudden Engine shuts off i lose power to everything I fight the steering wheel into a parking lot. I then attempt to start it and no compression at all the starter is just winding up i figure gotta be the timing belt. remove cover and sure enough its snapped in half. So i hear with it being an interference engine more than likely ive smashed some valves and possible some other damage. The question is rebuild head or grab myself a GSR head and make me a LS vtech or maybee just part engine out and swap the whole thing?....maybee if someone could give me an idea on how much this is gonna cost me for each option and the results I am going to get with each option..

Ex-Price to performance ratio wats worth spending my money on..? thanks Everyone.

I cant help but to be sick

I don't think motors are worth rebuilding. Ever. Factory motors are by far the best motors built and take the most amount of abuse. Unless you really know who it is building your motor and you trust the guy and they'll stand by the motor, than I'd just sell off your short block and buy another one. Even the best engine builders make a bad one now and again. LS motors are dirt cheap. Personally, I'd suggest a B20. Lucky Star and other importers sell long blocks for around 1100-1200 bucks for a low mileage motor with warantee. It's not like an ITR or a GSR motor that are bought to be beat on, the CRV motor is from a grocery getter so you'll get a really healthy motor. LS parts bolt right on since they're identical except for the larger displacement, plus Crower and a few other companies are making some VTEC killer cams that are putting out some really high numbers for a simple cam spring and retainer swap. Besides, for the cost of an LS VTEC, you might be better off just buying a B16. Better rod-to-stroke ratio than an LS and it loves high revs. Good luck.
