throttle cable snapped!
Hey TI,
I was on my way to work and as soon as I got out of my parking lot my gas pedal floored and the car dropped speed...I pulled over and opened the hood to find out that the throttle cable had snapped...
when I swapped the engine the mechanic apparently used my stock throttle cable for the B18C engine..is that the problem that caused it to snap?
Also whats the difference in the cables, as I can not get a GSR cable because they are on back order for another two weeks...but the stock one is avalible..should I stick with the stock or is their any alternative?
thanks

I assume you have a civic. You can use the stock civic one. Actually people with skunk2 manifolds prefer using an ls or civic throttle cable. Don't think that would be the reason why it would snap. I could be wrong. The tb cable shouldn't have too much tension.
