im loooking to up grade the system in my 1999 integra are there any recomandations on sizes of speakers ive her sum horror stories about ppl buying too big of a speaker and being screwed stuck with it afterwards ...

 

In a dc the fronts and rears are 6 X 6.5. But many people and I put 6X9 in the rear. You have to cut a bit of the bracket that is there. Very easy mod for awesome speakers. Nice upgrade.

 

There are some very good speakers out there in 6.5" sizes, a whole range from budget to all out... And also for a bit more power go 6x9" in the back. The other thing you could do is run your speakers through an amplifier to get better sound out of them. Also, if you've got a subwoofer your clarity's gonna jump huge because your speakers dont have to handle the really low frequencies.
