Default Taking the car out of storage

I had planned to fully prep the car to be stored all winter, but I was too busy and never got around to doing so. Its been sitting in the garage since November, I tried to start it but the battery died. I didnt disconnect it so my alarm drained it. I also checked my oil to see if there's any left and the dip stick is dry. The car still has a quarter tank of gas left and it hasnt moved from the garage since November.

What are some of the things I should do to get it up and running again? Some tips would be helpful.

Is it normal for the dipstick to be dry since it hasnt been started in a while? Or should I top it up before I start it?

i would change the oil/filter to stay on the safe side. possibly get some 94 octane in there too if possible.

No it shouldn't be dry on the stick as long as you checked it on level ground.

Things to do:

Change the oil and filter
Fill the gas tank and add gas line antifreeze
buy a battery charger and/or remove the battery when parking it
check tire pressure add air if nessecary
give it a good wash so that no dirt has anytime to inbed in the paint when you put it back in the garage
make sure the coolant is topped up and is able to withstand -20C temps

optional
spray hinges with wd40
top up windshield washer

well before you get the car going i would check your spark plugs, make sure the oil, coolant, brake fluid, clutch fluid, tranny fluid (if auto) and power steering fluid are full.

top of the oil and start it up. it's only been siting since november. why are you starting it up so soon anyway? is it to take pictures of your new sw388s? (i'm assuming that is what you got, since you won't tell me, -------.)
