Default Synthetic to Natural

Need to know if it will be ok to start putting natural oil in my engine. The previous owner said he only used synthetic, i dont believe him, cuz he looked like a cheap ***. I want to do an oil change soon with lucas additive or use some sort of high mileage oil or w.e possibly mobile 1 2000. I topped up my oil a while back and i put in synthetic. If i drain out all my oil and w.e will it be ok to start using natural oil from now on?

sup dawg, u cud switch to "Natural" but den, when u try to get dat mad power and rev to 6800rpm, and den bounce off da redline, you might get ur engine cuttin out on U. If u dont run natural den u can keep on revvin and makin insane jdm powa!

I dont know what the hell Torqueless_In_Toronto just said, but I would just use synthetic. I have always used Mobile 1 full synthetic, and recently done a oil change with cheap vavoline ----.. I noticed it right away that my car ran different. So I went back to Mobile 1 and it runs normal again.
And about that lucas oil treatment ----, my buddy told me a story.. He is a mechanic, and did a oil change for a older guy driving a older caddy or something like that.. When he dropped his car off to get it done, he said please make sure you put in the lucas oil treatment.. Well my buddy forgot, and the next day the man came back to shop saying something wasnt running right.. And he asked my buddy if he put the lucas stuff in.. Believe it or not he could tell right away that it didnt run the same. So I dont know if it is a big joke with this stuff or if it actually works....

well lucas is supposed to stop oil burning, it engorges the valve seals and piston rings to stop any oil entering the combustion chamber. I know it works cuz i use it in my DA and it works wonders, but its supossed to work better when u put in with a full oil change(replace about 1/2 to a quart of oil with lucas)

well i guess the answer is i shouldnt go back to natural, its just that topping up with synth. is too pricy u know, 10 bux for a quart of synthetic.

I get my oil change every 5000 kms or less and you can still see through the oil when it comes out.. I dont know to me its worth the extra bit of money if it helps the longevity of the engine.

If you change synthetic every 5K, then you are throwing away perfectly good oil.

Ya they say it is good for 10,000 kms but whatever I am not going to take a chance. I just like to take good care of my car. If you want I will sell you my old oil for half price. Thats quite a deal

+1 for every 5000K, do that in about 6 weeks, 75-80% city driving.

Ya it might be but to me whats the extra couple bucks anyways. In the last 2 years I have put over 120,000 km's on my car, and it has never given me a problem. Not saying its just because I have changed my oil every 5,000 km's, but I still dont think that its such a waste of money to take extra care of my vehical. So to others I might be wasting my money, but to me, I dont think I am at all

The Honda owners manual states that in reference to any additives to promote extra performance. What I am doing is an additive(Lucas) to seal the rings and valve seals and help to stop burning oil(which by the way has stopped now...)... Btw did u also know that in the back of the Honda manual it says " Hondas can never lose"?

Tnks for coming out.

HAHA I talked to the guy that works at the lube shop and he said he puts a full container of lucas oil treatment in every oil change. He wanted to do the same for me but I told him its ok, just put a quarter of the jug in, I drive a Honda and you drive a GM. Your truck needs all the help it can get lol

Here's what i've noticed with synthetic oil... They last long but pricey.... there's a reason why they are expensive... Better lubrication than any other conventional engine oil... will last long and what i mean like up to 10,000km... really!!! well i was that broke i totally left it all the way to 10,000km until i had money for the synthetic oil change and still looked good... i was that surprised.. they work well for performance... if you go back to regular oil.. you will notice prolly the difference but a lot more if you drive your car hard... you know... like someone said on top "sluggish"...

when i bought my teg with 260,000km on it... my first oil change was synthetic and never went back to regular... almost at 300,000k.. it still runs strong... who knows what the previous owner was using... do what you have to do...

why not just use royal purple if ur switching to synthetic.....plus it has additives in there already....same stuff the lucas treatment promotes....it's what i use and i never burn oil....it's a little more pricey than the mobile 1 but from my research and from others experience with lucas additives, it's a waste of money.....u get what u pay for with oil as well.....

thanks and i love u
