Default Symptoms of a bad O2 sensor?

What are they?

Could this be the reason why my car is idling funny? Im getting a ECU code and its a Code1 for 02 sensor.

TIA.

Jonn if you reach my house, I'll let you try mine out. I bought it last summer.
