Default Sway Bar

Does anybody know the rear sway bar size differences for a coupe

RS
GSR
and Type R
?

Is it worth upgrading from a RS to a GSR rear sway bar?

EDIT: All the base model coupes (RS, GS, LS, SE) share a 13mm rear sway bar. GSR's are equipped with a 14mm.

Type R on the other hand, is a beefy 22mm.

Cool Thanks.

Few more questions:

Does the GSR and ITR front upper strut bar directly bolt to a DC RS?

Does the rear lower strut ITR bar directly bolt to a DC RS?

In regards to the front strut, i can't recall if the base models have the studs to tie down the bar. If it does, then it's a direct bolt.

For the rear lower sway bar, in addition to Rxperiment's post, your going to need to reinforce the subframe, or you run the risk of tearing the end links out.

Just look on top of the front strut towers; just inside of the struts in the engine bay, look for 2 threaded studs about 1/2" tall, and 2" apart from eachother.

Strut bar sits in them.

thanx for the back up alex , i completely forgot about the subframe brace, as Bestodabest said u need the subframe brace to prevent from tearing out ur end links as well as ur stock subframe.

I can get a GS-R anti roll bar, can I simply just bolt it to my RS or do I need to get any
other hardware?

Yes but it is (14/13)^4, which means it is 23% stiffer

Regardless; a 23% increase in stiffness won't be proportionate to tensile dispersion of load in a turn.

Basically... you won't notice the difference; it's placebo. When i upgraded from an LS to GSR, i felt a minor difference. But then again, there are significant improvements between an LS and GSR in performance.
