Swapping Mileage Reading
I have an ls cluster which I did something stupid on and I am going to buy a new ls cluster. However I would like to have it read the same mileage. Is there a way to swap my current odo meter to the new cluster?

im rolling mine back from my engine swap. but ill be honest when I sell it and tell the buyer there is 272xxx on the body+w.e else i put on it
Rolling the odo is illegal but if it matches the original odo then nobody is gonna know. Like if someone sells u a car and the odo reads far less than what paperwork, databases show then yeah its not a pretty thing.
Don't do that, its illegal but if u must, before you sell it keep track of your current clicks and put back the original clicks and however much more clicks you added since the roll back

No im going to keep track what clicks i put on, then when i sell it, ill tell the guy i rolled it back for the engine, and tell him the kms on the body.

what you're doing is illegal. ministry will catch on when you renew the sticker and when you sell the car, the person will find a mileage inaccuracy note on the carfax report. you should leave it. get the KM off the car and subtract it from the mileage on the engine. use that number as you're static value. whenever you wanna find out the mileage on your engine subtract the mileage from your odometer from the static number you got when you installed the engine. the answer will be the mileage on the engine.
