I have a k20a2 usdm engine that i want to put in my 96 LS..
for what i know its a lot of work meaning i also need to get the tranny for it.. welding and fabrication... major electrical conversion, hasport mounts, ecu, axles???

guys anything else im missing let me know... would really appreciate it if its worth doing it or not... and also rough estimate on how much it will cost me to do the swap myself or proffesionally done....

either get the ecu done by Hondata( the kpro) or ure 2nd choice is towing the car to acura to reflash the ecu for your vehicle.

 

just off the top of my head the parts you don't have listed are:

-swap header
-fuel rail/line/regulator
-shift linkage and shifter box
-k pro
-rad
-rad hoses
-intake manifold (possibly? i'm not 100% sure if you need one)

 

^ the k20a2 manifold should be fine, if its a k20a3 manifold then ull have to trim some of ure rad support off.

 

money wise... how much am i looking on spending the rest of the stuff since i only have the motor and its a k20a2 with intake manifold...???
