Default Sunroof Squeaking

My sunroof started squeaking recently so im guessing its time to lube it up. Never done it before so just wondering if there is a special lubrication for this. If not what would be a good one thanks..

you can use multi purpose grease from crappy tire (comes in a round container with a lid). it's a dark coloured grease. apply sparingly by hand to sunroof the rails.

Clean up the sunroof track first.

I use white lithium grease.

I didn't find white lithium to last very long, and it didn't seem to alleviate the problem I had from the moonroof "jumping" on its tracks.

Try using either marine grease, or wheel bearing grease... Fixed the jumping, and I haven't had to relubricate the tracks in well over a year.

As mentioned earlier, make sure you clean the tracks very well first. Don't half *** it! Do it right the first time.
