Default Strange Problem

Okay, now i'm having a wierd problem with my other integra. the 1998 rs.
i hate diagnostic explanations where all you are given is the sound, but thats all i can explain it as...

almost (but not every) time i shift i get a strange vibrating sound. If you have a cold air intake, the sound is almost exactly like the air sucking into the intake mixed with the squeal of a fanbelt mixed in. anyways, this really annoying sound seems to be coming from the rear passenger side.

anyone have any idea what it could be?

All I can say is I would have to look at the car to see what the noise is. I work at a shop, so I would be the one to look at it if you bring it my work.

naw. i've had the intake on there for a while and i know the whistle it makes.
this is def coming from the rear. the car doesn't have much of the interior installed as I am doing some work on the alarm, so you can hear where the noise is coming from pretty easily.

ok i've got it fixed now. it was one of the exhaust heat shields making a bizarre sound on the pipe as the wind hit it
