NGK's are oem and thats what I recommend. Fuel pressure should be set to stock and you need to get your car tuned

I agree with the NGK. Also, you don't need to do your fuel pressure until you boost it or maybe even port and pollish.

I just bumped up the fuel pressure to 42psi, and installed a cooler heat range spark plugs. runs amazing now, and tons of torque..im very impressed. turns out if you put your spark plugs in the exact same way...u actually gain power...got the info from Acura. and it works!!

wtf are u talking about.

Why not just turn your fuel pressure up to 50psi, why only leave it at 42? Changing your fuel pressure does ----, if you don't have the mods to support it. It's funny that I'm running stock fuel pressure at 12:1 compression, but yet you feel the need to turn yours up....lol

Go get your car tuned instead of relying on your butt dyno.

It just means that you were over due on changing your spark plugs, by just changing mine every 6 months or so, I notice a idle difference. It's smoother.

If you think that you gained torque though....wow, just wow

turn your fuel pressure back down. you're only dumping more fuel into it causing it to run rich which in fact makes your car slower. putting the plugs in the exact same way make little difference too. not enough for a butt dyno to pick up. it's all in your head.

i heard if you put a crazy amout of fuel pressure, it's like vtec. no joke. but seriously; why would you want to put your fuel pressure so high? your wasting more gas, making probably less power, making your car run like ----, and not to mension that on your old injector seals and fuel lines are probably not in the best condition, squirting fuel onto hot motor = OMGWTFBBQ

i change my plugs every 2 months..but i bumped the fuel up to 55psi..smells like gas when punching it..but its better on milege...cant figure it out...but it works..i kno it sounds stupid..but its a better ride.

I was getting 300km/tank..now im over 500 a tank. it was recommended...it smells really rich tho..but the car literally runs great. it ran like ---- at stock fuel pressure. an since i have no clue what stock pressure is...Im guessing here:S 55 seems to work good..n the engine runs stable..when i have it lower...its not the best. I gapped the plugs at 42. thinking of maybe lowering the fuel pressure to 50 tho...55 smells.at 50 it ran good n not rich.

if you can smeel gas it means you're running rich.
it should be from high 20's to low 30's

Although 55 is way too high, high 20's low 30's is way too low.

20-30 even on an LS is Leaning it out waay to much. having my fuel pressure set at stock..the engine runs like ----..when i open it up..it runs amazing..thats why i have mine at 55..but as i said b4..I think im going back to 50. because it wasnt rich at 50.

I know this is a very old thread of mine. but I tried out the fuel at 36 psi. And yep it runs alot better! smoother, and runs like it should. haha i feel stupid. And now my eyes dont burn when i go to smell the exaust to see if somethigns wrong. my new question would be. Im burning oil, synthetic too..so its not cheap. Its not coming out of the exaust, I cant find leaks, but i can smell it when i rev the motor up. Any ideas? And also..Scrap the taylor wires and go with accel? or stock. I checked it out..and Those wires have ALOT of resistance.
