im kinda new to this site and i recently had to change my tail light harness
and i noticed that i have these small bulbs on the corner of the tail lights with their own separate harness but they are not connected to anything so im wondering if they should be connected or what they are for someone let me know thanks

 

they are marker lights and they should be connceted and come on with the parking lights. Trace the stock taillight wiring and solder them back up.

 

they have their own harness with a socket like how the other harness connects but its just tied to the other wires just sitter there

 

Yes they will have there own harness. But just like black ac gsr said, find on your tail light what wire is your power and ground, and then just wire that harness into it, that will make the bulb turn on when you turn you parking lights on.

 

thanks i think im going to do that but im just curious is it suppose to be disconnected like that or has someone messed with it before

 

No it should not be disconnected, from factory they are wired into the tail light harness.
