to remove a HU you dont need them, although it is a bit easier.

Get creative and use something else ie. A screwdriver.

if you don't wanna pull out the whole mounting sleeve and/or centre console then you'll need those. or use a screwdriver and start poking around like rey said

just use a thin piece of sheet metal or something simular....those things are easy to come by ....you could also take it to a futureshop and ask to borough there keys.....i have tones of them...
