Default Side Mirrors

I know this is gonna be a stupid question to most of you, but I am trying to take my passenger side mirror off to replace it, but I can't figure out how to do it. I tried to pull that small triangle piece off because I assume there are screws underneath it, but I can't get it off, and If I keep prying at it, I am going to break it. Is there an easy way to get this piece off?? lol

Speaking from a G2 owner's point of view, if you pry at it with a screwdriver it should come off...then there's 2-3 screw's to undo before the whole assembly comes off...but again, that's what it takes to take the mirror off my G2....dunno if it's the same for the G3's

good luck!
