im installing the s2000 antenna on my dc2 and wondering if anyone elese has done this?

does it screw straight in?
i have all the harware and antenna, except the motor

is this a easy install?

Your going to have to get a lil dirty for this. Rear inside quarter panel will have to come out and I believe you take out the motor and everything... its not just a screw it in from the outside thing. There are some wires I believe. There is a S2000 Shark Tail Antenna Install Article somewhere. I believe it is on the www.team-integra.net website in artices/projects sections. Hope it helps.

The new shark attack antenna is a lot easier to install than the one that team integra had posted. It took me 15 min to take off the collar off the old antenna and 5 min to install and put everything back together. Only 1 plug i had to connect.

 

need to keep oem antenna female plug, de-pin s2000 female plug the yellow wire (it's the only wire), and replace with oem integra female plug, stick yellow wire into middle of that. plug into stock antenna wire harness!

 

s2000 antenna FTW...still luvin it
